Frequently Asked Questions

Tencel® lyocell is one of the softest, most environmentally friendly fabrics out there in the world. iFamiLove products are made from 100% TENCEL™ lyocell from eucalyptus trees. We use authentic certified TENCEL™ manufactured by Lenzing Fibers milled from Austria, so we guarantee the best quality.

iFamiLove sheets are soft & silky to the touch. Considered a cross between silk and cotton, our sheets are 2x softer and 3x more breathable than cotton.

All our products are made in a closed loop process, where we reuse and recycle 99.7% of source materials and water. Our sheets are 10x more sustainable than cotton.

The Count (S) is the index of softness of Tencel fabric. The larger the number is, the softer and smoother it will be. Generally speaking, there are four kinds of tencel fabrics: 30S, 40S, 60S and 80S. The tencel bedding of iFamiLove are selected in 60S and 80S.

We make the highest quality eucalyptus TENCEL™ Lyocell eucalyptus sheets on the market. You will find that not only do we have the highest thread count TENCEL™ sheets on the market, our sheets are also noticeably softer, more breathable, and less prone to pilling. Also, our sheets are some of the most sustainably made sheets that exist.

* Please wash other fabrics separately, gently by machine or by hand. It is recommended that the water temperature be 30℃, avoid cross-coloring.
* Hang dry in cool environment, spread out flat, reduce wrinkles.
* Washing selection of neutral detergent, not long time invasion bubble.
* When ironing, the temperature of the bottom plate should not exceed 110℃.

Generally speaking, the better the elasticity of the fabric, the better wrinkle resistance of the fiber. For example, polyester is not easy to wrinkle, but pure cotton, silk, hemp and fabrics of the kind are easy to wrinkle; When cotton cloth is pulled, the elastic recovery rate is less than 50%, Tencel has almost no elasticity. As a result, when we "roll the sheets", we will find that the sheets are often shrunk into a ball, and then the fabric will wrinkle, or when the washing machine is washing, it will also be because of the agitation of the washing machine.
To prevent our sheets from getting wrinkled, they should be dried flat after washing or ironed at a low temperature after drying. If you are lazy like me and don't want to iron them, don’t worry, you can just lay the sheets out flat on the bed and look at it later, it might not be so wrinkled.

Since TENCEL lyocell is a completely natural fabric, you may notice slight pilling with initial use. This can be reduced or removed during the washing and drying process when following the washing instructions. Slight pilling is normal for natural fibers, especially in response to friction and isn't a fault or defect.

To prevent excessive pilling, we suggest going to bed with soft clothing. To prevent friction from dry skin and rough patches on feet, which could cause pilling, try applying moisturizer to affected areas.
